Privacy Policy

    Sudoku Cube does not require an account, does not collect your name or email address, and does not sell any personal data. Your game progress is stored locally on your device.
  

1. Who We Are

Sudoku Cube is developed and published by Amine Tamdy ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at amine.tamdy@gmail.com.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

Your puzzle progress, solved puzzles, and game statistics
Your settings and preferences (theme, language, text size, etc.)
Hint usage and daily puzzle completion records
Ad frequency counters (number of puzzles solved between interstitial ads)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync (a future optional feature).

3. Advertising — Google AdMob

Sudoku Cube displays ads provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads, depending on your consent choice.

Before showing ads, the app presents a consent dialog powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. You can change your consent choice at any time in Settings → Privacy Settings.

Data that AdMob may collect includes:

Advertising ID (resettable in Android Settings)
Approximate location (derived from IP address)
Device and app information for fraud prevention
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

To opt out of personalised advertising, you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out in your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads.

4. In-App Purchases — Google Play

Any purchases made within the app are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information. Google Play's privacy policy applies to all transactions: Google Play Privacy Policy.

5. Daily Puzzles

The Daily Puzzle feature downloads puzzle data from our CDN (content delivery network). This request includes your IP address as a standard part of the HTTP connection. No personal identifiers are sent, and no request logs are retained beyond standard CDN infrastructure TTLs.

6. Permissions

The app requests only the permissions required to function:

Internet access — to load daily puzzles and display ads
Network state — to check connectivity before making requests

No access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or files is requested.

7. Children's Privacy

Sudoku Cube is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is rated for general audiences on Google Play. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights (EEA / UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR, including:

The right to withdraw ad personalisation consent at any time (via Settings → Privacy Settings in the app)
The right to request deletion of any data we hold — since we hold none, there is nothing to delete
The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. Data Retention

All game data is stored on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. We do not maintain servers that store personal data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app adds new features. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
